Do The Dead Want to Be Remembered in Photographs
Still Life, in this instance a play on words. Spirits caught on film and/or digital imagery. Do they want to be seen? Are they trying to communicate to us a message from the other side? Are they trying to tell us a story of how they lived and died or are they just there? Lonely Spectres without a purpose. Are they part of the concept that Walls really do talk and we just don't stop to listen? I believe all of things to be true of a Ghost/spirit. We leave imprints of ourself in/on our environment and to some degree the walls that keep us safe from the elements of nature record our lives for us, after all our homes are part of our lives are they not? other belongings like jewellry, clothing and dollies or other toys do the same thing, they live out their lives with us and record every part of it and when we are gone we know that we will not be forgotten...
