Personally, I go for a more "earthy," "backwoods," kind of look. I found a really cool lingerie shop in Holly Pond, Alabama, Cullman County, on Highway 278. It's called "Fredericks of Holly Pond." They've got a full-line of sequined, see-through overalls, crotchless overalls, and-my favorite-EDIBLE OVERALLS in the new biscuit and gravy flavor. There's a sale on leggings, this week. All catfish net stockings are half off, and still coming down!

Agreed. While I'm not going in for Bionicnotsogoth's catfish-net stckings, I am disturbed by the lack of readily available fishnets in town. Every store carries them at Halloween, but they're hard to find any other time. Unless ou go to Western Hills Mall, in which case any fishnets you find could be used to catch Whale Sharks.

Welcome my girl! You're dead-on in my book with the tribal and sci-fi influences.I personally tend to scrounge up and make a lot of my "outfits." I'll find something PVC and fairly cheap on ebay.com then add to it with whatever appeals to me so it's not typical (bits of metal, straps, etc). Of course, I'm a firedancer and everything I make tends to be good for three uses tops before it's wasted. Roquestar has some absolutely posh fashions, if she'll share her sources!
