Do you have a dark gaurdian angel???

I do.

His name is Sylis. He is an occultist who died of an unknown illness. He thinks its what we call now-a-days as tuberculosis.

But he's about 6 ft. tall, long black hair, I can't see his eyes their shadowed, he wears black, green, and blue robes and cloaks. And a large pentagram.

He's been with me since I was 7 and has made his presence known to everyone who doubts him especially to my mother.

He likes to drain people of their energy. So I kinda consider him a psychic vampire.

What do you think??? Do you have one of your own???

I wish I had a dark angel watching over me but I don't. I see shadow people all the time but I never get the feeling that they are there for my benefit. What I wish for is to meet a vampire. Most people would find that to be a foolish wish. Something that awesome yet terrible should stay has it has for millenia; hidden from our prying and inquisitive eyes.
I still have hope...

Reading through this thread...meeting a 'vampire' largely depends on just what,exactly,you think a vampire is...

For example-I'm what is generally known as a Sanguinarian Vampire.
Now,this doesn't involve any claims to immortality or extended lifespan/everlasting youth/blow-your-mind powers/etc
A Sanguinarian Vampire is somebody who,for reasons as yet unknown,becomes measureably ill if they do not regularly ingest small amounts of fresh blood.
Most doctors immediately dismiss us as lunatics(and maybe we all are),but there are now a very few serious medical studies looking into possible causes of the condition.
We do appear to have a tendency to some 'psi' abilities,slightly above the apparent average,but no Super-Humans here I'm afraid.

Then there are Psi vampires.
I'm not so up on what's involved here,but...basicly,the current theory is that,with both Sang and Psi vampires,we don't produce enough 'prana' or 'energy' by the normal methods of eating,drinking and sleeping.We seem to require more from an alternative outside source.For Sangs,this is quite simple,you find a 'donor' or three who will regularly allow you to 'feed' off them-ie,take a small amount of blood from them.For Psi's,it appears to be a little less obvious.They basicly 'feed' off their donors or crowds or storms,etc,by 'psychic'(sp?dyslexic and very tired,sorry)means.It still basicly boils down to them needing to gain energy from an unusual source,usually a person.And suffering a measureable health decline if for some reason they are unable to 'feed'.

Then there are the 'traditional' or mythological vampires.But no doubt you already know all about them Within the 'standard' or obviously human vampire community(and I'm not talking roleplayers who think Ann Rice's books or the Underworld movies are for real here) it's generally considered that mythological vampire is just exactly that-a myth born from humanity's wishful thinking and early attempts to explain various natural occurances.

But,really,unlikely as their existance is,no-one really knows if it's possible for them to exist or not.
If they do(which I don't personally think,but that's just an opinion)I can't see one of them walking up to a hospital or scientific institute anytime soon and volunteering to be the first test subject...

I'm trying my damnedest to find out what EXACTLY Sylis is. In my opinion he's not definable. Although, his presence should be enough, it's not.

My curiosity always wins out and gets the best of me. I have to study anything, everyone, and everything around me. Until there's nothing left to know. (Whichs annoys most people. But screw them. It's for my benefit, NOT yours. NOT theirs. MINE.)

I want to know, the cliche basics.

"Why are you here?'

"Why me?"

"What are you now? What did you become after you died?"

Of course his answers annoy me and him as well, "I don't know."

I thought about not evoking him into my body, but his memories. But I don't want to be somehow binded to him. More than I already presumeably am.
