Plain and simple...

Max Shreck (sp?) is a god.

This classic silent will always be my favorite vamp movie.

His eyes still seem to just pierce through the screen...not exactly a shocker and by todays standards, cheesy. But the atmosphere this film creates cannot be topped.

i agree.
the  hollywood movies and press dishonor us goths, vampyres, etcetra and so forth. unless they can correctly capture how all of us are as a whole, not a faked and divided poser in a costume.
the old vampire movies did wonders for us....
