Ok so it's not exactly a horror film but it is actually a pretty good ghost story.  It starts out with this group that traps the spirit of this boy and they have this gadget that allows them to see him.  For a while they observe his routine that he had in life.  The head researcher had later heard of this guy who could see spirits without aide, a natural sensitive, so he has one of his aides fetch him and stuff and then sprays this eye stuff containing like microscopic versions of the thing he created to allow him and the other see the boy.  They have the man follow the boy on his routine and further find out his story and stuff.  Anyway you should realyl see it to get the story. In the movie it went on to explain that the silk filaments they were seeing was the 'physical' connection all living and dead alike have eto one another, thus why some ghosts get attached to the living kind of thing. and this silk is created out of emotions. The boys just happened to have been created by hate, the hate his mother had for those who picked on the boy.

Like I said you should see if you have the chance, it explains a lot in my opinion and how another culture's one of many perspectives on hauntings.
