This is a bit of an oddball as 'horrors' go.It's a British Independant Cinema release,so may not have had much,if any, publicity outside of the UK and Ireland.

Basic breakdown;an up-and-coming filmmaker(Holly)is making a documentry about the 'weekend vampire' phenomenon found in the Goth scene. This leads to her meeting Vicki-who claims to be a 'real vampire'-who moves in with her and they start having an affair.

Soon after there starts a string of vampire-style murders. There's no secret in the film about the fact that Vicki is the murderess, she confesses to Holly quite early on.The main point of the story is really is Vicki a 'real vampire' or just a common garden psychopath.

The whole film is shot home-movie style, from the viewpoints of 3 different cameras-Holly's main camera, for the documentry,Holly's personal video diary camera and Vicki's own camera. It works quite well, gives quite a nice audio effect to the film.

The ending has a nice little twist to it.There's a point where it appears the film has ended,Vicki has been apprehended for her crimes and credits are about roll-don't turn off. There's a last little bit of home diary to go...
