Thank You
I see your face,
I feel your warmth,
I know that you are near,
You no longer walk this earth,
But I know that you are hear,
You’re watching over me,
And you help me see, that everyone is different,
And just to let them be.
But now I know your wisdom,
I’m still no better than the rest,
I love, I hate, I fight, I even struggle sometimes,
But knowing you are near just gives me more hope,
That life is worth living,
And I will never let you down.
You helped me when I needed it most,
But even though I cannot see you,
You are still helping me through.
Your kind words and your laughter,
Have never left our lives,
And your spirit and your talent will live on through-out the years.
So what I'm trying to say is thank you,
Thank you for being there,
thank you for helping,
And thank you most of all for never letting us down,
In our lives your spirit will always be found,
Thank You.
