Ok I just want to know your opinion on this and if I am or am not the only one who sees it this way. I am a full figured and plus sized woman. And in todays market the meanings of both terms often collide but at the same time often go way off. I have noticed that more often than not when a woman is refered to as being full figured, the industry is referring to the woman having very large boobs. And when the say plus sized, she is a size 10 or above. in all honesty, anything that is between a size 10 and 18 is not plus sized. I am sorry to say this but just because it is a double digit does not make it plus size. I mean I would do or give almost anything to be a size 18 once again given the fact I know I will never reach anything less again.
I am full figured in the way of years gone past meanings. I have curves in places a woman is supposed to have curves even though I do not have incredibly large breasts. if you've ever seen a picture of me, I have hardly any breasts to speak of. I am only a c cup and I am not a light woman in anyway. now some of you might think I am overweight by choice or laziness and that I am not. it is caused by an actual disease thank you so don't go off on the judgemental bandwagon before it even gets going.
Anyway I just want to know if anyone else has noticed this trend in the redefinition of Full Figured and Plus Sized?
