The Underworld seduces me

Its voice a siren’s call

Leading me so willingly

Into the orphic unknown



The Underworld beckons me

To where wild lilies thrive

My senses scalded by desire and promise

I am struck blind.



The Underworld embraces me

My need ripped from my soul

Proof of my place amongst the exalted and debased

I am made whole.
