We are going for broke come 2010 as we expand for the first time ever - adding another 10,000 square feet of showroom space as TheHMA.net's Mask-Fest is given its own showroom! That's right - On top of HorrorHound Weekend, you will also get Mask-Fest - and the best part is, your admission price gains you entry into BOTH events!!!! Mask-Fest will feature some of the world's best mask-makers and FX industry icons - as well as a showcase of amazing new vendors selling everything from masks, sculptured work (statues, busts) and art to Halloween supplies and haunt items!
Such celebrity guests already lined-up for this event include Wayne Toth (Halloween), Greg Nicotero (Grindhouse), Tom Savini (Dawn of the Dead), Paul Clemens (The Beast Within), Cortlund Hull, Don Post Jr. and David and Laura Lady - just to name a few.
The HorrorHound showroom will be packed with an amazing array of vendors and celebrities - as well as a new tribute event dubbed the Vampira Horror Host Tribute! All weekend, horror hosts from around the country will be making appearances as they show tribute to the original hostess - Vampira. A special horror host event party and Black Mass are being planned - with such names as Dr. Calamari, Ms. Monster, Karlos Borloff, Count Gregula and Joe Bob Briggs already signed-up to appear at this event! Yes, we said Joe Bob Briggs!!! Brought to you by the Dark Carnival Film Fest - whether you know these amazing horror hosts or not - their presence at HorrorHound Weekend will be groundbreaking! And to top this off, we haven't even mentioned our special events, film fests of celebrity guests!!!!! So to make a smashing impact with our website launch - we are VERY proud to announce that horror writer/director and legend - CLIVE BARKER will be signing Friday and Saturday - and will host a special movie screening (TBA) and panel!!!!
